CHOICES
Life, a mirror reflects the fate
Consequence of choices made
Pebbles dropped into a pond
Ripples widening ever on
Be careful of the cost
What is gained is what is lost
The past is gone; can't be changed
What we choose is what remains
Forever
Time created for the test
Which choices will seem best
Gratify the present lust?
Invest in some eternal trust?
When ends this mortal race
There'll be no second chance for grace
What we've sown is what we'll reap
What we chose is what we'll keep
Forever
Free will; a cruelty indeed?
A false hope for Adam's seed?
How can humanity be to blame
Judged for some inherited shame?
What folly to remain condemned
Dead man walking to the end
If the Son of man set all prisoners free
Why choose death row and not reprieve
Forever
